Inwood, IA: Evadina Tilstra, 94, of Inwood, formerly of Rock Valley and Canton, died Friday, September 30, 2005 at Fellowship Village, Inwood. Funeral will be 2 pm Monday at Christian Reformed Church, Inwood. Burial will be at Richland Cemetery, Inwood. Rev. Rich
Kooistra will be officiating.

Evadina was born February 25, 1911 at Rock Valley, daughter of Nick and Agnes (Snook) Van Beek. She married Fred Tilstra on February 8, 1935 at Inwood. Together they farmed near Canton, SD until farming south of Inwood beginning in 1943. Fred and Evadina retired to Canton in 1977. Fred died December 29, 1994.

Evadina moved to Four Seasons at Rock Valley in January of 2000 and to Fellowship Village June 22, 2004. Thru the years Evadina was a member of Sioux County Homemakers Club and Willing Workers of the Christian Reformed Church. She also enjoyed bowling, going for walks, traveling and tending to her many flowers.

Survivors include son, Glen (Donna) Tilstra of Rock Valley; daughter, Verna (Conrad) Krahling of Oldham, SD: 8 grandchildren, Conrad Krahling, Sharlene (Roger) Jensen all of Oldham, SD, David (Sarah) Krahling of Denver, CO, Jeanie (Randy) Bruggeman of Brandon, SD, Deb (Norm) Vande Vegte of Rock Valley, Brian (Michelle) Tilstra of Larchwood, IA, Shar Porter of Colorado Springs, CO, Lucinda Tilstra of Green Mountain Falls, CO; 14 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan, and Drake Vande Vegte, Taylor, Cole, and Jordyn Porter, Caleb, Chelsea, Cade, and Carter Tilstra, Evan and Kelly Jensen, Rachel and Sully Bruggeman.

Evadina was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; 3 infant grandchildren; 3 brothers, Pete,
Gerrit, and Chris Van Beek; 4 sisters, Marie Van Abbema, Kate Tolsma, Agnes Haveman, and
Chrisena Tilstra.
