The Hull community was shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mr. John Dykstra Friday afternoon of a heart attack at the age of 78 years. His wife nee Annie Newenhof preceded him in death Feb. 14, 1938.

Surviving are two sons and seven daughters.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, 1 o’clock from the home and 1:30 from the First Reformed Church, in charge of his pastor Rev. De Jong
