Mrs. Vander Veen of Boyden passed away very suddenly at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henry Driesenga near Holland MI. on Saturday morning at the age of 83 years.

She made her home with her daughter Mrs. John Citters of Boyden and left about a week ago to make a short visit with her children in Michigan. Shortly after her arrival there she suffered a stroke and passed away Saturday morning.

Left to mourn her departure are seven children: Mrs. Henry Driesenga and Walter Vander Veen both of near Holland MI. William Vander Veen and Mrs. John Citters both of Boyden. Art and Mrtine VanderVeen both of Sioux Falls and Ben of Doon.

Funeral services will be held at Boyden on Friday afternoon at the First Reformed Chruch with Rev. Brinks officiating. Burial will be make at the Boyden cemetery.
