Henrietta Otten, 86, Luverne, died Saturday, July 18, 1992, in Mary Jane Brown Nursing Home, Luverne. Henrietta Driesen was born in the Netherlands, she came to the United States in 1909 with her parents in the Rock Valley, Iowa, area where she attended grade school.

She married Ralph Otten Feb. 16, 1927, in Rock Valley. They moved to Rock County in 1955 and fanned in Vienna Township. They retired to Luverne in February 1964. They were church custodians for several years and members of Christian Reformed Church in Luverne.
Her husband died in 1989.

Survivors include a son, Gerald, Montclair, Calif.; two daughters: Mrs. John (Hermina) VanMeeteren and Lavonne Otten, both of Luverne; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Henry Driesen, Hull, Iowa; John Driesen, Rock Valley; and Edward Driesen, Alton, Iowa; and three sisters: Jennie Buma, Bellllower, Calif.; Tena Gerritson, Ontario, Calif.; and Anna Ellerbroek, Sheldon, Iowa.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Christian Reformed Church, Luverne, with burial inMemorial Gardens Cemetery, Luverne. Engrebretson Funeral Home, Luverne was in charge of the arrangements.
