Obituary Mr. H. Rikkers
HULL. Mr. H. Rikkers was born in the Netherlands, Oct 29, 1857. In 1886 he married Gertie Juffer and in 1891 they migrated to America, and have always lived in Sioux County. Mrs. Rikkers preceded him in death Oct. 11, 1920. To this union were born 8 children: Mrs. Ed Vander Schaaf of Orange City Will, Gertie (Mrs. Roetman), Mrs. Dec Oostenink, Mrs. Gerrit Oostenink, all of Hull. Rev John Rikkers of Kalamazoo, MI, Rev. Henry Rikkers of Ellsworth MI, Mrs. Ben Van Batavia of Gerriston SD, 32 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In March 1922 he married Mrs. Van Pykeren, who with her 8 children also feel the loss of a devoted husband and father. Mr. Rikkers had been ailing for several months and died Sunday at the age of 84 years. Funeral services will be held Thurs at 1:30 from the home and 2:00 from the Chr Ref. Church in charge of Rev. Haan. Pallbearers were 3 sons and 3 sons in laws.
