Dorothy J. Rikkers
Dorothy Rikkers, 66, of Hull died Sunday, December 5, at Pleasant Acres Care Center in
Hull. Services were Wednesday, December 8, at 1:30 p.m. at American Reformed Church in Hull with the Rev. Steven Bierly officiating. Interment was at Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Mrs. Rikkers was born September 23, 1933, at Orange City, the daughter of Christian and
Grace (Van Beck/Beek?) Dekker. She was raised in the Orange City Newkirk area. She married LeRoy Stanley Rikkers in rural Hull on May 13, 1958. They farmed south of Hull until 1977. They moved into Hull in 1980. She was a member of the American Reformed Church. She loved spending Time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cross stitch and embroidery projects and liked being outdoors.

Survivors include her husband: Iwo sons and their wives. Rich and Deb Rikkers of Sioux
Center and Darwin and Susan Rikkers of Ellsworth, Minnesota; seven grandchildren: two-greatgrandchildren; her father and stepmother, Christian and Tena Dekker of Rock Valley; a sisterin- law, Lorelei Dekker of Memphis, Tennessee; and four nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, John
