William Riphagen
William Riphagen, 77 , of Hull died Monday, May 30 , in a hospital in Rock Valley.
Services were at 1 : 30 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church in Hull with the Rev. Gerald Vander Velde officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.Riphagen was born July 30, 1910 , in Osceola County and was raised and educated in the Maurice and Sioux Center areas. He married Margaret Hoksbergen November 26 , 1931 , in Hull. The couple farmed west of Perkins until December 1974 when they retired to Hull.
He was a member of First Reformed Church where he served on the consistory as elder and deacon. He was a former member of the board of directors of Farmers Co-Op Elevator of Hull and the Egg Producers of Sioux Center. He was a former trustee of Lincoln Township.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mildred Mulder of Orange City and Leona Schreur of Alton; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established in his name with the World Home Bible League
