Sioux County Capital of April 20, 1981

Arie DeVos, 92, died Thursday, April 16 at Sioux Center. Services were held at 2 p.m.
Saturday, April. 18 in the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt and the Rev. Gerrit Rezelman officiated. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery in Sioux Center, under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. De Vos was born Aug. 2, 1888, in Sioux Center. He married Fanny Schutt July 15, 1903, at Sioux Falls, S.D. She died Oct. 21, 1967.

Survivors include nine grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
