Mrs. Lammert Hoogland, 89, Sioux Center, died Wednesday Dec 29, in a nursing home at Sioux Center. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Bethel Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Duane Tinklenberg officiated. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Hoogland, the former Kate Bosch, was born July 9, 1893, at Doornspyk, The Netherlands. She came to the United States in 1903. She married Lammert Hoogland Feb. 14, 1914, at Chandler, Minn. They made their home in Sioux County. He died May 1968.

Survivors include three sons, Alfred of Hospers, and John and Dick, both of Sioux Center, two daughters, Mrs. Gerrit (Bertha) Brands of Rock Valley and Mrs. Melvin (Alice) Brands of Boyden, a brother, Henry of Rock Valley, two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Ymker and Mary Bosch, both of Rock Valley, 19 grand- children and 24 great grandchildren
