Mrs. Anna Gregg, 88, died Tuesday evening at the Hawarden hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held a 2 o'clock-Friday afternoon at the Associated church with Key. John C. Thorns officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral home.
Mrs. Gregg had lived in Hawarden 50 years, having move here in 1902. She was a life long member of the Presbyterian church an served faithfully in its activities. She was a member, of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Mothers Club.
She was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA., January 25, 1864. She was the fourth child of nine children of Isaac and Lavina Stauffer. The family moved to Iowa in 1880 and resided at Gladbrook.
She was married to Moses Gregg of Galdbrook January 1, 1889. Four sons were born to this union, Ralph, Will, Harry and Warren. Henry died in the flow epidemic of 1918. She is survived by her three sons, all of Hawarden: seven grandchildren five great grandchildren on sister, Mrs. Olive James of Chicago and one Brother Clyde Stauffer of Des Moines.
