Funeral services held for Mrs. Bert De Weerd
Funeral services were held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church here at 1:30 P.M. Saturday. November 13, for Mrs. Bert De Weerd, 72, of Sioux Center, who died at the Sioux Center Community Hospital November 10.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel and burial was made in Memorial Gardens here.

The former Hattie Van Holland was born at Rock Valley February 22, 1889. She was married to Bert De Weerd at Rock Valley November 18, 1919. Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include five sons, Dick of Pella, John of Rock Valley, Gerald, Hilbert and Gordon, all of Sioux Center; a sister, Mrs. Ann Veenstra of Sanborn; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
