MINNIE DE WEERD
Minnie De Weerd, 68, rural Maurice died Tuesday, June 4 at her home.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, in the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Donald Barnes and the Rev. Harold Lenters officiated.
Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center. Miss De Weerd was born Nov. 17, 1916 at Maurice and was a lifelong area resident.
Survivors include two sisters, Ethel and Johanna De Weerd, both of Maurice.
