Rites Held Friday For Infant Son of Gerald DeWeerds
Funeral service were held at the Little Chapel here at 2 p.m. Friday, January 27, for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald De Weerd, Daniel Lee, who passed away at the Sioux Center Connunity hospital at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, two days after birth.

Services were conducted by the Rov. Clarence Van Der Plate and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery.

He was born on January 24.
Survivors besides his parents include three brothers, Stanley Wayne, Rilin Jay and Roger Dale, and one sister Mary Jean; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Draayer and Mr. and Mrs. Bert DeWeerd.
