Mrs. Vander Meulen Friesland Native

Mrs. Fred Vander Meulen, nee Anna Felkema, died Saturday [February 2] at her home in Orange City. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home and First Christian Ref. Church, in charge of Dr. Bronkema and Rev. Schuurman. Born March 16, 1880, at Franeker, Friesland, Netherlands, she came to the United States at the age of 15 years. She was married in 1908 to Fred Vander Meulen, who died on December 19, 1930. One son, Raymond, survives his mother, also one sister and three brothers.
