Miss Elsie E. "Nora" Leander, 90, of Hawarden, Iowa, a former Sioux City legal secretary, died Monday at a nursing home in Alcester, S.D. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden. The Rev. Harold Schafer officiated. Burial was in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Miss Leander was born June 1, 1886, in Alta, Iowa. She was a legal secretary in Sioux City until she retired and moved to Hawarden in 1958. She was a member of the Alliance Tabernacle of Sioux City. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
