DEATH OF GERTRUDE ALLISON
Alcester Girl Passed Away Saturday
Following an Operation
Gertrude Allison, 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip D. Allison. of Alcester, former well know Washington township residents, passed away in a Sioux Falls hospital Saturday afternoon following an operation for kidney trouble. She had been ill but a few days preceding the operation.

She was born and spent her entire life at Alcester, where she was an eighth grade graduate this past spring. Besides her grief stricken parents she is survived by two brothers and three sisters.. Funeral service were held at Alcester Tuesday afternoon and the remains were then brought to Hawarden for interment in Grace Hill cemetery.
