MRS. HENRY HEGEMAN
Mrs. Henry Hegeman, 66, of Sioux Center died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital. Services were held Monday in the Faith Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. David Smit officiated.
Burial was under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center. Mrs. Hegeman, the former Helen Van Diggelen, born March 29, 1916, at Sassenheim, the Netherlands.- She married Henry Hegeman May 20,1943, at Sassenheim. They lived in Bussum, the Netherlands and came to the United States in 1956. They made their home in Sioux City, Hawarden, and Sioux Center.
Survivors include her husband, four sons, Wynand of Orange City, John of Bettendorf, Peter of Spirit Lake and Keith of Marshalltown, three daughters, Mrs. Gysbert (Wilma) Resoort of the Netherlands, Mrs. Leo (Joan) Rutka of Chicago,.IL and Mrs. Delmar (Christine) Schmabel of Davenport, one brother, Pieter of the Netherlands, three sisters, Gre Flinterman and Ann Van Diggelen, both of the Netherlands, and Jo Vander Vliet of Chicago and 11 grandchildren.
