MRS. PAUL HEFFERNAN
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Rock Valley at 10 a.m. November 21 for Mrs. Paul Heffernan, 67, of Rock Valley, who died at her home November 19 following a brief illness.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Patrick J. Nooney and burial was made in the church cemetery.
The former Catherine Keegan was born at Rock Valley November 10, 1905. She was married to Paul Heffernan at Rock Valley June 16, 1934. He died in August of 1970.
Survivors include a son, John Paul, of Denver; four daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Joan) Chamberlain of White River, S.D., Mrs. Robert (Sally) Baker of Scotland, S.D., Miss Jean Heffernan and Mrs. James (Patricia) Slamkowski, both of Yankton, S.D.; three brothers, Percy of Sioux Falls Clarence of Rock Valley and Clem of Wakonda, S.D.j three sisters, Miss Florence Keegan and Mrs. Joe Haas, both of Rock Valley, and Mrs. L. J. Rimmer of Waterloo; and 14 grandchildren.
