Former Ireton Resident Dies

Ireton, Ia. -- Graveside services were held Thursday for Paul Lendt, 52, a former Ireton resident, who died Monday at the Sacred Heart hospital in Le Mars.

Mr. Lendt was born and raised in Ireton. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Lendt. He was a graduate of Ireton high school and lived in California several years. Mr. Lendt made his home in Le Mars for a number of years.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Smith and Mrs. Mary Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Elnora and a brother Chris.
