Obituary of Mrs. Bruno Lendt

Mrs. Emma Lendt, daughter of Ernest and Katrinka Mueller, was born June 15, 1874 at Hanover, Germany and came to the United States in 1882 to Lowden, Iowa, where she was united in marriage to Bruno Lendt in 1899 and following came to Ireton. She passed away March 22, 1945 at Culver City, Calif., with cancer of the liver. Funeral services were held at Culver City, Calif., with the Rev. H. B. Tierjen of that place officiating. Burial was at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Chrisan of Brunsville, Paul, who is in the service, two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Smith of Medford, Oregon, and Mrs. Mary Scott of Cambridge, Mass. Another daughter, Mrs. Elnora Alvine passed away in 1925. She also leaves two brothers, Chris Mueller of Ireton and William Mueller of Silver Grove, Kansas, and one sister Kate of Santa Cruz, Calif. and two grandsons.

Mrs. Emma Lendt had always been a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton, and naturally the whole congregation family renders the sweetest of sympathy.
