PASSED AWAY: February 27, 1982
SERVICES: First Reformed Church, Sioux Center, Iowa, March 2, 1982
Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center Tuesday afternoon, March 2, for John G. Vande Berg of Cedar Falls, la., who passed away Saturday, Feb. 27 in the
Sumner Hospital. Interment took place in the Memory Gardens Cemetery at Sioux Center under
the direction of Chenaweth and Son of Fredericksburg. Ia.
Mr. Vande Berg was born in Sioux Center on June 29, 1897. He married Mabel Beernink on June 24, 1918. She passed away Jan. 30, 1982.
He is now survived by three sons Gerald of Des Moines, James of Austin Texas and Marvin of Glen Ellyn, Ill. and one daughter, Sandra (Mrs. Virgil Truman) of Waucoma, Ia.
He is also survived by two brothers Bert of Dubuque and G.J. of Perry, Ia.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Minnie (Mrs. Dick Smit) and Allie (Mrs Raymond Lubbers).
