Henrietta Vande Berg passed away Thursday morning
in Sioux Center at the age of seventy-nine years. On June 12,1930, in Sioux Center she was united in marriage to Harold Beernink who preceded her in death on February 7,1972. On May 10,1975, in Sioux Center she was united
in marriage to Art Vande Berg who preceded her in death on November 8, 1986. She is survived by three sons: Gene Beernink of Sioux Center, Iowa; Darrell Beernink of Normal, Illinois; and Howard Beernink of Sioux Center, Iowa. She is also survived by three stepsons and one stepdaughter: Duane Vande Berg of Sioux City, Iowa; Paul Vande Berg of Spencer, Iowa; Shirley, Mrs. Floyd Johnson, of Plymouth, Minnesota; and Warren
Vande Berg of Marquette, Michigan. In addition she is survived by six grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four step-greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, two grandchildren, one step-grandchild, seven
brothers and two sisters.
