Last Rites To Be Held Today For Stanley Dimmick

Funeral services for Stanley Gene Dimmick, 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Dimmick, who died Monday night [February 24], will be held at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church, Rev. C. E. Custer officiating. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery.

Stanley was born on a farm near Hawarden April 11, 1945, where he resided six years. The past six years he lived with his family in town. Stanley had not been well all his life, having been crippled since birth. He became ill with the flu which developed into pneumonia.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Thomas. Survivors besides the parents are two brothers, James, 14, and Raymond, 8, and two sisters, Diane, 4, and Kathleen, 2, all at home, and a grandfather, Henry Johnson of Ireton.
