Harlan, son of Ralph R. and Hattie Vande Berg, was born August 29, 1941 in Sioux Center, Iowa. He lived his youth and attended school in Sioux Center. He was united in marriage to Nadine Toering in Hospers, Iowa. They lived on a farm near Sioux Center until 1976 when they moved to Orlando, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine; two sons, Todd and Eric; one daughter, Tanya of Orlando,
Florida; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph R. Vande Berg; two brothers, Allen of Scott City, Kansas and Norman of Pipestone, Minnesota; two sisters, Rose (Mrs. Harold Vander Weide) and Ruth (Mrs. Jay Lyftogt) both of Orange City, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Vande Berg in 1969.
