Mrs. Lawrence Jurgenson, 55, of Hawarden, died April 15 in the Hawarden hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. April 17 in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jurgenson, the former Helen Morehead, was born June 7, 1920, in Plymouth County. She was married May 22, 1942 in Le Mars. Mr. Jurgenson died Aug. 6, 1968. They farmed in the Alcester and Hudson, S.D. area until moving to Hawarden in 1966. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gorman (Karen) Nygard of Akron; two grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Ida Morehead of Sioux City; three brothers, Keith and Robert Morehead, both of Hawarden, and James Morehead of Sioux City; and three sisters, Mrs. Jerry (Joan) Perea of Sioux City; Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Hockett of Sioux City; and Mrs. Jerry (Mary Lou) Lundy of Gresham, Ore.
