JURGENSON FUNERAL SET FOR FRIDAY

Funeral services for Lawrence Carl Jurgenson, 50, Hawarden, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran church in Hawarden. Rev. Pittack will officiate and burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Mr. Jurgenson died Tuesday at the Hawarden Community hospital. He was born March 24, 1918, in Union County, South Dakota. He was confirmed in Mathews Lutheran church in Chatsworth July 28, 1935. He married Ellen Morehead May 22, 1942, in LeMars. He farmed in the Hawarden and Alcester area until three years ago when he was forced to retire due to illness.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. (Karen) Gorman Nygard; one grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Russell Ericson and Mrs. Robert Morehead, both of Hawarden; and Mrs. Emil Nordling of Sioux Falls.

LAWRENCE JURGENSON FUNERAL HELD

In the funeral services held last Friday for Lawrence C. Jurgenson at the Hawarden Trinity Lutheran church, officiated at by Rev. O. F. Pittack, Mrs. William Hill served as organist and the church choir sang two selections, "For Me to Live Is Jesus" and "Abide With Me."

Active casket bearers were Vern Hagen, Magnus Jervik, Harold Kleinhans, Lawrence Ryken, Oliver Wennblom, and Stuart Newberg. Honorary bearers were John Dierckson, Lorenz Janssen, Albert Moehlmann, Warren Wasser, John Schoellerman, and Edward Treiber.
