Dolpha Tone

Mrs. Barton Tone, 69, of Hawarden died Friday, Jan. 7 in Hawarden after a short illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Fredrich Mellberg officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Akron.

Mrs. Tone, the former Dolpha "Dolly" Robertson, was born March 23, 1913, at Greenville, Ky. She came to Hawarden with her parents as a girl. She married Barton Tone Aug. 14, 1937, at Elk Point, S.D. He died Aug. 28, 1976. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Evert (Barbara) Falkena of North Platte, Neb.; her mother, Mrs. Dovye Robertson of Hawarden; one brother, Elton of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Doris) Wilkison of Lafayette, Ind. and Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Johnson of Hutchinson, Kan.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
