Cecil Arthur Niehaus. 55, of Fairmont, Minnesota, died of a heart attack on February 18, 1961. He was born in Sioux county near Ireton. on October 22, 1905, the son of August and Tillie (Zimmerman) Niehaus. Mr. Niehaus a well known farmer in the lreton vicinity.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 21 at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Interment was at. Lakeside cemetery at Fairmont, Minnesota.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; and two sons, Charles and Steven; his aged mother; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie McCleary, Mrs. Ella Gronenwald of Granada and Mrs. Helen Frock of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Those from this area who attended the funeral were Mrs. T. M. Zimmerman, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson and Carla from LeMars; Mrs. Earl Weed from Vermillion, S. D.; Mrs. Esther Clausen of Sioux City and Mrs. Marion Lemcke of Morningside.
