Jessie Van Maanen, 87, of Sioux Center died Sunday, April 26, 1987 in a Sioux Center Hospital.

Services will be held today, Wednesday, April 29, in the Bethel Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Duane Tinklenberg will officiate. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley. Family visitation was held Tuesday in Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Van Maanen, the former Jessie Van't Hul, was born July 28, 1899 in Perkins. She married Bert Van Maanen, March 18, 1920 in Rock Valley. He died April 6, 1966.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bert (Lucille) Kamies of Sheldon and Mrs. Harold (Jeanette) Jager of Hudson, SD; a son, Gerrit of Maurice; a brother, Otto Van't Hul of Rock Valley; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
