Funeral services for Mrs. G. Van Holland will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock at the home of her son Tom Van Holland and 1:30 at the First Christian Reformed Church at Rock Valley. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. De Weerd, at the age of 88 years and 5 months.

She was born June 21, 1866, in The Netherlands. She was married to Geurt Van Holland in 1889. They came to America in 1891 arriving in Alton and she has remained in Sioux County all her life.

There were six children born to this union. Her husband and three children preceded her in death - one daughter in infancy, one son Dick in World War I, and one son John three years ago.

She leaves to mourn her passing three children: Mrs. Anna Veenstra; Mrs. Bert De Weerd, and Tom Van Holland. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Six grandson will be pall bearers. Coop Burial Association will be in charge.
