Mrs. Betty Van Kley, 65, of Grand Rapids, Mich., formerly of Orange City, died Thursday, August 14 of a long illness.

Services were at 10 a.m., Monday in the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. The Rev. Cornelius Van Schouwen officiated. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery.

Mrs. Van Kley, the former Betty Aardapple, was born Jan. 8, 1915.

She taught school for more than 45 years. In 1945 she taught in Hull Western-Christian High School.

Survivors include one aunt, Mrs. Henry (Bessie) Lucas of Grand Rapids, Mich.
