Mrs. Elliott, 68, the former Isabel Jones who was born and raised in Hawarden, died of a heart ailment at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Preston Evans, in Omaha. Mrs. Elliott was a former Iowa state representative, had been active in 4-H work and was former chairman of the Woodbury county farm women’s organization. Funeral services were at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament church in Sioux City and Internment was in the Calvary cemetery at Sioux City, Woodbury, Iowa
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evans and Miss Margaret Elliott of Birmingham, Ala; two sisters, Miss Anna Jones and Mrs. J. Weber of Gary Ind., and four grandchildren
Mrs. Conrad Faide, Mrs. Jessie McAninch, Mrs. Herman Utech and Minnie Johnson attended the funeral of the latter’s Cousin Mrs. Isabel Elliott at Sioux City Monday morning
Note: Her husband was Frank A. Elliott born 1888 and died 1935. They are listed in the 1925 Iowa censuses.
