Funeral Here 1:30 Friday for Mrs. Klaas Langstraat
Funeral services for Mrs. Klaas Langstraat, 91 long-time resident of this vicinity who died Tuesday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Cuperus, in Hull, will be held at the First Christian Heformed church in Sioux Center at 1:30 Friday, July 31. . Services will be conducted by the Rev. B. J. Haan and burial will be made in the Sioux Cenler Communily cemetery. Co-op Funeral Service of Sioux Center is in charge of arrangements. A brief service will be held at the Little Chapel preceding the service at the church.

Additional information She was born in the Neth. Sept 7, 1867 Adrianus Struyk and Adrianna Jongejan. On May 17, 1890, she was married in The Netherlands to Klaas Langstraat. They moved to the United States in 1901 and settled in Sioux county. To this union six children were bom.
Mr. Langstraat died July 27, 1936, and one son preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Henry and Edward of Rock Valley and Cy of Detroit MI; two daughters Jane (Mrs. Gerrit Draayer) of Sioux Center, and Mrs. Nellie Cuperus of Hull 26 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Van Otterloo of Orange City and Mrs. Wm. Buesink.in Holland
