HENRY C. LANGSTRAAT
Sioux Center Funeral services for Henry C. Langstraat, 79, were held at 1:30 p m., Saturday in the Central Re-formed Church. The Rev. Albert Ten Clay officiated. Burial was held in the Newkirk, Iowa, cemetery with the Cooperative Funeral Home of Sioux Center in charge.

Mr. Langstraat was found dead Wednesday in his trailer home by a son and son-in-law who investigated when he failed to come to either of their homes for the noon meal. Mr Langstraat was born February 21, 1888 in Newkirk He married Celia VanRoekel in 1911 at Newkirk. They farmed near Newkirk until 1946, when they moved to Alton Iowa. She died in 1964

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Art Pluim of Hull, Iowa; Mrs. Sander Roos of Chandler, MN; three sons, Keith of Hull; Wilbur of Lynden, Wash.; and Henry of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Gerrit -Slothouber of Boyden, Iowa; Mrs. John Dekkinga of Matlock, Iowa, and Mrs. Jake Van De Hoef of Sheldon, Iowa; 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
