MRS. GRACE LANGSTRAAT
Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Langstraat of Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away at the Community Hospital in Sheldon Thursday, August 23,, were held Saturday, August 25, with services at the home at 1: .o'clock and 1:30 in the First Reformed church in Newkirk With Rev. A. Hellenga, officiating. Burial was in the Newkirk cemetery with Vander Ploeg's In charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Jake Vande Hoef, Wm. Vande Hoef, Marion Mennlng, Howard Langstraat, Joe Tensen, and James Cleveringa. Mrs. Grace Langstraat, nee Uittenbogaard, was born on a farm near Sheldon on October 19, 1915.

On March 12,1937, she was united in marriage to Herman Langstraat at Sheldon. To this union were born the following: Shirley, Rodney, Darlene, Beverly, Robert, Glenda, and Bradley all at home. In addition to her husband and children she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Uittenbogaard of Hospers, and the following brothers and sisters: Margaret, Mrs. John Klynsma of Hospers; Tena, Mrs. Louie Kroon of Hospers: William of Lake Park Iowa and Arlene, Mrs. Jake Kramer of Hospers. Many others will mourn the passing of a beloved relative and friend.
