Tuesday morning, Sept. 11, Grandpa Rowe (John L.or H.) died. Although four score years and four he was not sick at the time of his death. Funeral services were held at the M. E church Thursday afternoon, Rev. Mahood officiating. The bereaved family have the sympathy of a large circle of' friends.

According to an ancestry.com report his wife was Mary Jane born 1825-1912, children were Thomas, William Alexander, James John and Eliza.
