Mrs. John Vis, Hills, Minn. died suddenly Saturday at her home. Funeral services were held at the home and Steen church, and burial was in the Sioux Center cemetery last Wednesday afternoon.: Mr.and Mrs Vis were former residents of Sioux Center, where Mr. Vis was for some years an implement dealer. Mrs. Vis was a sister of the late John Doornewaard, and a sister of Mrs. T. Bolluyt of Maurice. She is survived by her husband, three sons, and 8 daughters; for whom Sioux Center friends feel much sympathy. Mr. A. Arendsen drove to Hills Sunday to console the family. Mr. Vis is Mrs. Arendsen’s sister.
