Mrs. Martin Eischen died very suddenly last Wednesday morning after an attack of the grip; as she had not been seriously sick it was thought to be from a weakness of the heart, with which she had been troubled for some years. A husband and five children mourn her loss and have the sympathy of many friends.

In 1895 They were living in Lismore Nobles MN Martin was born about 1845 Germany Elizabeth was 57 yrs? Philip was 13, Mathew 11, Maggie 10, Nicholis 9, Aliex 7, and Jacob 4. In the 1900 census they were living in Nassau Tsp Sioux county Martin born Mar 1845 Germany wife Lizzie 52, Nick 15 and Jacob 9. They were married Feb 4, 1880 and came to Sioux County about 1885. Elizabeth’s maiden name was Hoffmann . Martin died Nov 21, 1916 Kossuth, Iowa
