Mrs. F. De Jong died last night at 11 o'clock from the effects of a stroke of paralysis a week ago. She was about 60 years of age, a Christian and much beloved by those who knew her The funeral will occur tomorrow from the Christian Reformed church. She resided in the west portion of town.
(This was found to be Mrs. Antje Fredrick De Jong - DeJong. She was born abt 1840 Metslawler, Oostdongeradeel, Friesland to Andries Jobs De Jong and Johanna Bernardina Schultze. She had married Fredrik on 7 Mar 1889 at Het Bildt Fr. Neth. at age 48 He was 47. She had previously been married to Andries Annes Noteboom 2 Mar 1864 at Menaldumadeel Fr. Neth. They had three Noteboom children born there, Johanna 1865, Anne 1870 and Pietje 1877. Antje and Fredrik came to the USA in 1894. )
