Henry Bertram died at the home of his mother northeast of town last Thursday aged nineteen years. Rev. Reidel preached the funeral from the German Lutheran church on Saturday. Deceased leaves two brothers and his mother.
(From the obit of his mother - Mrs. Fred Bertram, Bertha Flethmann, she was born Aug 19, 1846 at Kettwig, Rhine, Germany, she died Feb 27, 1933, married Fredrick Bertram 1840-1888 of Essen Germany. They came to the USA in 1881 directly to Sioux county. Fred died 1888. She had four sons, Fred and Charles of Ireton Ernest of Hartley and Willima of LeMars, two dau - Mrs. H. Witt of Hawarden and Mr. B. Fritz of Ireton.)
