Mrs. Ralph Bronkema, 85, of Sioux Center died Sunday in the Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home. Dr. Frank Steen will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Bronkema, the former Ella Hofstra, was born Sept. 10, 1895, at Grand Rapids, Mich.

She was married June 30, 1920 at Grand Rapids. The Rev. Bronkema died in 1973.

Survivors include one son, Chaplain Major Ralph W. of Hessisch Oldendorf, Germany; three daughters, Mrs. John E. (Betty Lou) Hibma of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Steve (Lois) Siebersma of Sioux Center and Mrs. Howard (Rosalie) Rosenfeld of Medford Lakes, NJ; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ellert of Margate, Fla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Agnes) Feenstra and Mrs. Ralph (Tena) Glass, both of Grand Rapids.
