Hull - Eva Davis, 88, High Schoals, GA, formerly of Hull, died Monday, March 22, at the Family Life Enrichment Center in High Schoals, GA.

Services will be 10 a.m., today (Saturday, March 27) at American Reformed Church in Hull, with the Rev. Steven Bierly officiating. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Hull, under the direction of Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Eva Davis, daughter of Fred & Jean Marie (Vanden Burg) Koele, was born July 1, 1915, in Hull. She was raised in Hull and graduated from high school She left Hull in the early 1940's and was a telephone operator for Bell South, retiring in 1978. She then returned to Hull. She moved to the Athens, GA, area in January of 2000. She had been married to Walter Davis.

She was a member of American Reformed Church in Hull.

Survivors include two sons, Walter C. Davis and his wife, Becky Marlow, of Douglasville, GA, and James H. Davis of Bogart, GA; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Davis, and several brothers and sisters.
