Young Man Dies At Maurice
Pluin Visser died June 5 at the age of 39 years and 2 months. He had been ill for several weeks. Mr. Visser was born at Doon in 1897, the son of Isaac Visser. In 1920 he was married to Miss Dora Haarsma, the daughter of Henry Haarsma. He is survived by his widow and six children, the oldest of whom is fifteen years and the youngest 3 years, namely Bertha Jennie, Henry, Ivan, Marie Hendrika, Clarence, and Paul. He leaves also his sisters, Mrs. Jim Jasper of Edgerton, Minn., Mrs. Cornie De Bont of Doon, Mrs. Charles Ardema of Doon and Mrs. Gerrit Wilemsteino of Doon and his brothers Henry of Montana, Bert of Middleburg, and Peter of Doon. Funeral services were held at the home at 1 o'clock and in the First Christian Reformed church in Orange City at 2 o'clock Monday. Rev. Mr. Schuurman and Rev. Mr. C. Groet of Middleburg officiated in Dutch and English languages respectively. Burial was made in the Orange City cemetery.

Pleun Visser who lived on the Jim Roghair farm near Maurice passed away Friday evening. He leaves a widow and six children. Mrs. Visser is the oldest daughter of Mr. Henry Haarsma west of Maurice.

Pluin Visser is seriously ill at the De Bey hospital. It was first thought that Mr. Visser had the flu but it was found that there was poison throughout his body. He has also suffered with diabetes the last few years.
