Edith Visser, 85, of Rock Valley died Saturday, December 25, at Valley Manor.

Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pioneer United Methodist Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. Jerry Robertson officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery, Rock Valley.

Mrs. Visser was born May 18, 1919, to Olin and Viola (Osborn) Henderson in Rock Valley. She married Peter Visser on June 2, 1937, in Sioux Falls. They moved to California in 1942. After retirement, they moved back to Rock Valley in 1980. He died January 29, 1987. She moved to Valley Manor on September 16, 2002.

Survivors include a daughter, Rose Marie (Thomas) Enders of Bellflower, California; a son, Ronald Visser of Long Beach, California; a daughter-in-law, LaDonna Visser of Santa Fe Springs, California; a brother, Ronald (Marilyn) Henderson of Hudson, South Dakota; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bill and Jim; two grandsons; a brother, David Henderson; and two sisters, Elnora Bell and Mildred Lund.
