Sioux Center News, May 31, 1951

Robert Walden, eight weeks old son of Mr. & Mrs. Paul Verrips of Bellflower, California, passed away at his home Sunday. The baby had been having the whooping cough and then took sick with double pneumonia.

Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers, Paul Douglas, Rodman and Jack Elwood. Also two grandfathers, Jake Verrips of Bellflower and Walter Van Dyk of Hull. Funeral services were held at Bellflower on Tuesday afternoon.
