Hawarden Independent, February 4, 1954

James Dauberman, 76, a resident of Hawarden many years, died early Wednesday morning at the Panska Nursing Home. Mr. Dauberman had been in poor health for some time and the past month was bedfast.

Graveside funeral services will be held in St. Mary's cemetery Friday morning with Rev. Fr. R. Graf officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Barnard Funeral Home.

He was born July 3, 1877, at Deleware, Iowa. When he first came to Hawarden he was employed in the North Western Railroad yards.

He married Mrs. Freda Imbrock in Hawarden, August 23, 1928. She preceded him in death last June 26. Survivors are five step children, Fred Imbrock of Hawarden, William Imbrock of Centerville, SD, George Imbrock of Long Beach, CA, Mrs. Mary Abrahamson of Beresford, SD, and Mrs. Martha Eli of Rivera, CA.
