Sioux City - Henry Cornelius "Heinie" DeBondt, 75, Sioux City, formerly of Sioux Center, died Sunday, Sept. 26, at his residence.

Graveside services were Thursday, Sept. 30, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center, with the Rev. Daniel Kordahl of Peace Luthern Church in rural Rock Valley officiating. Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center was in charge of arrangements.

Heinie De Bondt, son of Tuenis & Hattie (Schriever) De Bondt, was born Aug. 31, 1929 in Sioux Center. He received his education through the eighth grade in Sioux Center and then entered the work force.

He lived and worked in Sioux City for most of his life.

Survivors include a daughter, Belinda; and a son, Tony; three sisters, Marie Winterfeld of Sioux Center; Madeline Koning of Chino, CA, and Caroline De Haan of Orange City; and three brothers, William and Doris De Bondt of Sioux Falls, SD, Evert & Harriet De Bondt of Sioux Center, and Tom & Nancy De Bondt of Sioux Center.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerrit De Bondt and Bernard De Bondt.
