PEGGY S. BOLLUYT
Mrs. Peggy Bolluyt, age 44, of Orange City, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2005 at her residence.
There will be a funeral service on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 10:00am, at the First Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Cecil Martens will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Wednesday, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.
Peggy Sue was born on June 26, 1961, in Sioux Center, the daughter of Elmer Willis and Audrey Jean (Boone) Gesink. She was raised on a farm near Orange City, where she graduated from the Maurice-OrangeCity Community High School.
On September 18, 1981, she married Kendall Ray Roetman in Orange City. That marriage ended in 2000. On June 4, 2005, she married Mark Edward Bolluyt in Orange City.
Peggy was currently a secretary at the Orange City Medical Clinic. She had also been employed as a secretary at the Floyd Valley School in Newkirk, Van Wyk Trucking in Sheldon, and the Sioux County Assessor's Office in Orange City.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She also participated in a Bible study.
Peggy loved the Lord and her family, which were very important to her. She enjoyed reading, walking, doing crafts, and writing to encourage others.
Survivors include her husband, Mark; two sons, Ryan Roetman, of Ames; and Jason Roetman, of Orange City; her parents, Elmer and Audrey Gesink, of Orange City; a brother and his wife, Brian and Nancy Gesink, of Kingsley; three sisters and their husbands, Barb and Ken Huenink and Sue and Terry Louwerse, all of Orange City; and Sheri and Jerry Sorgdrager of Alton; fourteen nephews and nieces; and nine great nephews and nieces.
