Harold Adams, 66, of Akron, died May 14 at his home of a brief illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m., May 17 in First Church of Christ. The Rev. Mike McHugh officiated. Burial was at 1:30 p.m., in Waterman Cemetery at Sutherland. A prayer service was at 7 p.m., May 16 in the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron.

Mr. Adams was born June 11, 1909 at Sutherland. He was married to Earlene Blair, June 14, 1931 at Cherokee. They lived at Sutherland until 1943 when they moved to Akron. He worked for a hatchery in Akron from 1943 to 1962 and was a maintenance engineer at the Akron Community Hospital from 1965 to 1974. He retired in 1974.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Michael of Parowan, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Harlene) McInnis of Hawarden and Mrs. Cal (Alice) Siler of Fairbanks, Alaska; one sister, Mrs. Bernice Phillips of Sutherland; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
