Mrs. John J. McManaman, 79, of Hawarden died May 20 at the Hawarden Hospital.

Services were at 10 a.m., May 24, in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. William Carel officiated. Burial was in the church parish cemetery. The Rosary was recited at 8 p.m., May 23 in the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. McManaman, the former Flora Noltze, was born September 12, 1896 at Marcus. She resided in Hawarden since 1918. She was married February 12, 1918. Mr. McManaman died February 28, 1967.

Mrs. McManaman was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Bernard (Merrilyn) Schiefen and Miss Aileen "Jackie" McManaman both of Hawarden, and Mrs. Dean (Flora Jean) Storm of Seattle, Wash., three sons, Charles and Michael, both of Hawarden; and Jerome of Lincoln, Neb.; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
